Sometimes I have to do it. I open the files on my computer with Tiny Man's movies and I watch them both, all the way through. Then I move on to the home videos. It just helps, when I have some time, to remember him. It still hurts so much.
No, not at all pointless, dear Kymba, just exquisitely painful. I think it's important not only that you do those things, but that you are now able to more openly express the ongoing suffering. Most people who have not have a huge loss like yours can't imagine how the pain lingers--always really. We learn to keep going that's all. Lots of love, dear.
